100% Cotton Ivory – 160 Square Envelopes

Description

These envelopes are made from 100% Cotton Ivory paper, which is a creamy, off-white colour and has just a hint of natural texture. They’re luxurious and feel lovely in your hands.

This colour is available in card with two different texture options (textured and smooth, or to be more precise very lightly textured), paper and envelopes in different sizes to suit the needs of your project.

160 Square envelopes are large, square envelopes that comfortably fit a 150 x 150mm card inside. Our envelopes are made in Australia, they feature a stylish, v-shaped flap and are gummed so that they seal easily once moistened slightly.

The 100% Cotton range is special, it has a slightly different feel to normal paper, it’s stronger, won’t go yellow over time and is guaranteed to last at least 100 years if handled properly. Traditionally this range would have been made from old cotton rags, but today it’s made from cotton linters which are a byproduct from the textile manufacturing industry that might otherwise be thrown away. These beautiful, cotton envelopes also come in white.

Printer’s notes

These envelopes are suitable for printing with a laser printer and an inkjet, but we always recommend testing your specific machine first. If in doubt, your local digital printing specialist should have no problem printing on these envelopes.

100% Cotton is also suitable for letterpress, embossing, foiling and silk screen printing, but as always, please test your chosen treatment.

100% Cotton is probably the most luxurious range that we have available because there’s something really special about how it feels in your hands – it’s soft and rough at the same time. It’s absolutely stunning for invitations but we also have lots of customers who use this stock for it’s archival qualities, because if it’s handled and stored properly, it’s not going to change for at least 100 years. – Serena
