Melissa put our Kaleidoscope Champagne Card to the test, it’s a lovely ivory card with a very subtle natural texture. She tells us that it has a good thickness, it cuts smoothly with a trimmer and it’s not to yellow, with a good ivory colour.

Copic Colouring Test

Products used for this test

Ink Used for Image: MFT Extreme Black
Ink Used for Sentiment: Versafine Clair Nocturne
Medium used for Colouring: Copic Markers
Other Products Used: Shimmer Pen & Glossy Accents

Thoughts after the test

  • The image stamped well with no bleeding of the ink.
  • I found colouring with Copic Markers was hard to blend.
  • However, the markers did not bleed which is great.
  • The Shimmer Pen and Glossy Accents did not warp the card.

Ink Blending through Stencil Test

Products used for this test

Ink Used: Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers
Other Products Used: Blending Brush

Thoughts after the test

  • The Oxide Ink blends well on this card.
  • However, the colour isn’t was vibrant but it still gives a good effect.

Ink Blending then Spritzed with Water Test

Products used for this test

Ink Used: Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers
Other Products Used: Blending Brush, Water Spritz Bottle

Thoughts after the test

  • The ink blended well onto this card.
  • However, once I spray it with water, the water soaked straight in.  The was no excess to remove at all.
  • Considering the amount of water this card took in, this technique still gave a good effect and did not warp much once completely dry.
