Description

Riviera Merlot paper is dark red with a matte, natural and very lightly textured finish. The textured finish makes it feel nicer to the touch than your standard, smooth paper and at 118gsm it’s relatively thick for paper so it doesn’t feel flimsy in your hands. This is the colour of a lovely glass of red wine enjoyed while on holidays along the French Riviera.

SRA3 is slightly larger than A3 and mainly used for when you want your printing to go all the way to the edge of the page. Since most digital printers can’t do that, you need to print on larger paper, with overhang or ‘bleed’, and cut it back to size afterwards.

Merlot is available in card and paper in a range of different sizes to suit the needs of your project. For a similar but slightly lighter burgundy, take a look at Kaleidoscope Bordeaux or if you’re looking for a lighter, brighter red, we can suggest Ruby or Chilli Red.

Riviera transports us to the beaches in the south of France with a range of gorgeous, muted colours reminiscent of the natural beauty along the French Riviera. We love the colours for wedding invitations and almost all combinations of the colours in this range match beautifully. The card and paper are compatible with both laser and inkjet printers and suitable for embossing, foiling, varnishing, laminating and many other treatments, but we always advise testing first.

Notes from our team

When I first saw the swatches for the Riviera range, I was so excited because the colours are just beautiful. We don’t have these dusty, romantic colours anywhere else in our ranges and we’d been searching for a long time to find them. The texture is perfect and this is my favourite range we stock. – Tong
