Tela Linen – White – 5 x 7 Envelopes

Description

These envelopes are made from paper that features an embossed, crosshatched pattern on one side and is 115gsm, which is relatively thick for paper so they don’t feel flimsy in your hands. Please be aware that while the paper used is thicker than that for our Linen Embossed – White Envelopes, they aren’t totally opaque because white envelopes rarely are. If you want to be sure that you won’t see through your envelopes, we suggest choosing a complementary colour for your project.

Tela Linen is bright white and embossed with a crosshatch pattern that looks like linen fabric, it’s available in card, paper and envelopes in a range of different sizes to suit the needs of your project. As an alternative, we can suggest Linen Embossed White, which has a slightly deeper embossed texture and is just a little brighter, with a slight pink hue to it, or Canvas, which has a slightly different embossed design and a creamier white tone.

5 x 7 envelopes aren’t exactly 5 x 7 inches, they’re a touch smaller so that they can be sent as a standard letter via Australia Post (saving half the postage cost for the sake of a few millimetres). Our envelopes are made in Australia, they feature a stylish, v-shaped flap and are gummed so that they seal easily once moistened slightly.

Tela Linen is a fantastic alternative to the Linen Embossed card we’ve been stocking for years. It has a slightly shallower embossed texture, which can make it easier to print on and the colour is a tiny bit less bright, plus it’s a little more affordable, so that’s always a win! – Serena
